Curriculum Vitae

  • Studied painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich - Diploma (outstanding artistic achievements).
  • Studied Indology, Philosophy and Catholic Moral Theology at LMU Munich - Master's degree (1.4 average), subject of the Master's thesis: The Hymn RV 10.129 and its Reception in the Ancient Indian Tradition.
  • 2000 - 2001 Research assistant at the Institute for Religious Studies at the LMU Munich within the framework of the interdisciplinary research project "Virtue in Cultural Comparison" (funded by the VW Foundation). Project component: Buddhism.
  • 2002 - 2004 Teaching at the DSND in New Delhi, India.
  • 2004-2007: Doctoral studies in Indology and Religious Studies at LMU Munich - doctorate (summa cum laude), dissertation topic: Buddhist Narrative Etching as a Process of Interpretation. A diachronic analysis of two state Buddhist religion books from Sri Lanka.
  • 2004-2019: Research assistant at the Institute of Indology and Tibetology (organisation of teaching and examinations at the Institute, subject advisory service for Indology, BA programme coordination, research and teaching).
  • 2007 - date: Programme coordinator of the Department of Asian Studies.
  • 2012 - date: Programme coordinator of the MA Religion and Philosophy in Asia.
  • 2016 - date: Solution-oriented counselling for BA and MA students of the Department of Asian Studies.
  • 2019 - date: Systemische Beraterin und Coachin (SG) (SG); founding member of the Netzwerk Studierendencoaching at LMU Munich.
